Radior offers a full range of aluminum and bronze metallic pigments for all applications (rotogravure, flexography, screen and offset). The pigments are available as powders, pastes and granules.
The pigments available range from pure aluminum to high quality bronzes provides a high metallic lustre, brilliance and good coverage.
Aluminum pigments
Leafing aluminum pigments:
RADIOR offers leafing aluminum pigments, which; provide inks with high metallic lustre. Various pigments sizes are available (6 to 13μm) .
Non-leafing aluminum pigments :
RADIOR range also consists of non-leafing aluminum pigments, giving better resistance to friction and a better coloration. Inks made from these pigments, are more suitable for lamination. Various sizes are available pigments (8 to 22μm ) .
Aluminum pigments cornflake, silver dollar (SD) and vacuum metallized (VMP ) :
The aluminum pigments are divided into three categories : cornflake, silver dollar and VMP . Their reflective properties vary, therefore provide different metallic effects.
Standard inks are made from cornflakes pigments; silver dollar pigments with their lenticular shapes, offer a higher metallic lustre. VMP, vacuum metallized pigment -based aluminum (see page
SUPRAMETAL
) provide exceptional metallic brilliance close to metallized substrates and hot stamping foil.
Bronze pigments
Bronze leafing pigments:
RADIOR also offers bronze leafing pigments. Various sizes are available (from 7 to 40μm ) . The bronze pigments exist only in cornflake form.
Bronze non-leafing pigments:
RADIOR also offers a non-leafing bronze pigment (9μm), for better abrasion resistance and improves lamination.
